Version 6.9.4 of Samaritan's Volunteer Management Software Launched

Friday, 4 March 2011 Samaritan released Version 6.9.4. In keeping with their commitment to their customers, Samaritan's latest release,Version 6.9.4, incorporates a wide range of customer-driven functionality into the system. These new features will greatly enhance the ability to recruit, manage, and measure volunteers efforts.

Some of the new features include:

  • Integrated Reference Portal - Have a reference provide his/her referral electronically through the newly integrated and updated Reference Portal. The portal automates the reference process by connecting the volunteer, the reference, and the volunteer coordinator using automated notification emails and web portals for the appropriate users.
  • Enhanced User Defined Fields - User Defined Fields have expanded. Radio buttons, check boxes, and a rating system has now been added to this already powerful repertoire of information tracking fields.
  • Volunteer Profile Report - This new configurable report allows AMS users to define a report that can include every field available in the volunteer profile.
  • Internet Explorer 6 - Version 6.9.4 will be the final version of eCoordinator that supports Internet Explorer 6. Beginning with version 6.9.5, eCoordinator will support Internet Explorer versions 7 and 8.
